In this module, you will examine the role of citizens in colonial America and in the early republic, assessing their liberty and equality during this period. You will also examine the purpose of voting and its role within civil society.

At the end of this module you will assess the activities carried out by women during this time period and how these activities translate to today by selecting a current event.
